Our Shared Goals
The goal of the second look program
is to strengthen your bank’s ability
to meet the credit needs of potential
and existing customers, thereby
strengthening deposit relationships
and ability to win new customers.

Meeting Customers Needs
Through the Second Look program,
declined small business loans are sent to Community Capital Resources, a not-for-profit CDFI and SBA microlender.

CCR’s Role
CCR may be able to help these
applicants secure financing and grow their businesses. CCR provides up to $25,000 in credit. In addition CCR provides technical assistance in the form of one-on-one financial counseling, business plan development classes, peer support and lending groups.

How the Program Works
Bank representative contacts denied applicant and informs them that there may be other lending sources.
